OverviewAssociate Director, Enablement and Automation, Office of Responsible AI – Remote. This role is a senior technical program management position within UnitedHealth Group, in collaboration with hackajob, focusing on enabling and automating the Office of Responsible AI programs and governance workflows.Primary ResponsibilitiesGovernance Workflow Solution Ownership: Lead the evaluation and selection of a new governance workflow solution vendor to support Responsible AI processes; oversee implementation and integration of the solution across business and technology teams; ensure alignment with enterprise governance, compliance, and risk management standards; lead end-to-end implementation of technical tooling and automation, including configuration, testing, debugging, system documentation, and user training.Automation & Efficiency Enablement: Support Responsible AI stakeholders to streamline governance workflows and ensure automation activities comply with regulatory standards; identify and implement process automation opportunities to streamline Responsible AI workflows; partner with cross-functional teams to design and deploy tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual overhead; develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track automation impact and adoption.Program & Stakeholder Enablement: Collaborate with program leads, data scientists, engineers, and compliance teams to understand enablement needs; translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions; serve as a key liaison between the Responsible AI Program and enterprise technology teams.Required Qualifications7+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably within a complex, dynamic, enterprise-wide governance and compliance program5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics3+ years of hands-on experience building and managing a suite of data-driven reports, preferably in Power BIProven solid communication and stakeholder management skills with multiple stakeholdersAbility to manage complex, multi-partner programs with cross-functional teamsProven deep understanding of data modeling and visualization best practicesProven solid storytelling skills through data visualizationProven solid ability to access, manipulate, and analyze data in low-code environmentsExperience with SQL and other datasets for data manipulation and extractionProven excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to be partnership-minded with strong time managementSeasoned proficiency with project management practices, principles, and toolsExperience with core technologies such as CRM systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce) and Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Excel/pivot tablesPreferred QualificationsExperience owning end-to-end program managementExperience owning end-to-end automation and technical enablement deploymentsTechnical experience in data analytics, data visualization, and related automation (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)PMP or Lean Six Sigma or equivalent certificationFamiliarity with Responsible AI principles, model risk management, or AI assurance practicesExperience in AI, data, or related governance functions, establishing or enforcing best practices, standards, and ethicsExperience supporting audit readiness or regulatory compliance initiativesExperience working with cross-functional and distributed teams in a global and diverse environmentExperience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industriesRemote work policies adherence per UnitedHealth Group guidelinesCompensation and BenefitsPay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, experience, and certifications.
