Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery West Des Moines, IA Specialty: Labor & Delivery Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2284 - $2752 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

As a Labor & Delivery nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns in a supportive and collaborative environment. Provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and fetal heart rates Administer medications and drips such as magnesium, insulin, and pitocin Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans Educate and support patients and their families throughout the birthing process Float across all campuses as required Requirements: Need 2 years experience in setting Experience in Postpartum, Mother-Baby, and Labor & Delivery care C-section and vaginal delivery experience, including triage Intermediate or Advanced EFM / AWHONN certification Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license AHA/American Heart Association or ARC/AMERICAN RED CROSS BLS certification AHA/American Heart Association ACLS certification NRP certification Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the previous 12 months
