Chief of Hematology | Chicago, IL City of Hope Chicago (Zion) has launched a national search for a Board‑Certified Hematologist to join our esteemed Chicago team in Zion, IL. The Chief of Hematology will provide leadership to our department of Hematology in clinical, research, and education areas. The Chief will be a highly regarded physician with a collaborative, team‑based leadership style, and the ability to leverage and grow our existing, nationally recognized Hematology program. The Chief must also be operationally savvy, with the business acumen and cultural sensitivity to lead within a complex, matrixed organization. Collaborative team: work alongside top‑tier physicians and specialists, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to deliver outstanding patient care. Clinically focused leadership position; applicants with significant experience in the treatment of lymphoid malignancies, leukemias (chronic and acute), or plasma cell disorders (myeloma) are highly desired. Respected Hematologist with a distinguished national reputation; academic rank commensurate with experience. Program fully integrated for all aspects of research and clinical mission, leveraging City of Hope’s leadership and long history in hematology. Broad skill set, including deep knowledge of clinical practice, commitment to training and career development of faculty, and demonstrated leadership and administrative ability. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range: $500K–$600K (negotiable based on experience, training, and hospital/community needs). Includes signing bonus, relocation assistance, and productivity/performance incentives.
