What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients' skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular functions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments and patient tolerance.
• Implement and document therapy interventions, updating plans as patient conditions evolve.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, prognosis, and treatment options.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students.
• Coordinate treatment schedules with patients and support staff.
• Assist in equipment recommendations and procurement.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary team meetings and community outreach efforts.
• Maintain proper documentation for billing and regulatory compliance.
• Promote the practice of physical therapy within the community.

What You Need

• Required:
  • Michigan Physical Therapy License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to excellent patient care and professionalism
  • OSHA training completed annually
• Preferred:
  • Outpatient therapy experience
  • Bilingual skills (preferred but not required)
  • Experience supervising staff and students
