Summary: As a Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with the Store Manager to develop outstanding associates, deliver exceptional and consistent customer experiences, and positively impact growth across Bath & Body Works. Our store leaders are the front line of our field leadership team: they're retail and customer-savvy, dedicated brand ambassadors, and thrive on the connections we make with our customers. Responsibilities * Attract, hire, develop, inspire, and retain top talent. * Responsible for leadership tasks as delegated by the Store Manager including acting as Manager on Duty, when scheduled, to address customer experience, vendor relationship, or maintenance issues. * Partner with the members of the Sales Leadership Team to support action plans that improve results and ensure effective execution of operational activities. * Perform opening and closing routines including execution of bank deposits, receipt of shipment, and interpret/disseminate company directives. * Set the direction and goals for the day/shift when associates arrive for work. * Provide individual and team performance feedback and recommendations to managers. * Lead exceptional in-store customer experiences through demonstrating and modeling selling behaviors rooted in Our Values and elevated product knowledge. * Create genuine connections with customers through uncovering needs, sharing product information, demoing products, and making personalized recommendations. * Train, coach, reward, and motivate associates to improve selling and the customer experience. * Reinforce selling expectations, performance, results, and accountability with all associates. * All store positions require constant physical activity, including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. * Associates are expected to climb ladders, lift, reach, bend, and kneel to obtain products for customers and to maintain the visual appearance of the store. * Associates should be able to lift 10 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds. * Consistently provide the most safe, clean, and engaging experience by adhering to all safety standards and expectations. * Maintain our values, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Qualifications * Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment. * Prior experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail setting. * Thrives in a customer-first based retail environment. * Ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture. * Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly. * Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates. * Ability to de-escalate store and customer situations effectively. * Must be available to work peak days and times, including varied shifts of evenings, weekends, and holidays. Education: * High school diploma, GED certificate, or Relevant Work Experience.
