Become a part of the “strength within.”Hexcel is currently seeking a GovCloud Engineer for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:Lead the delivery and lifecycle management of GovCloud-aligned platforms and services (e.g., Azure Government)Design and implement secure cloud architectures aligned with U.S. government and defense frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST, Zero Trust)Ensure compliance with federal, state, and defense regulatory, audit, and security requirementsServe as the escalation point for complex technical, security, and service-related issuesDefine and maintain secure cloud landing zones, guardrails, and governance standardsCollaborate with Security, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams to support audits and authorization processes (e.g., ATO)Manage third-party suppliers and partners supporting GovCloud servicesSupport incident response, disaster recovery, and service continuity planningDevelop and maintain GovCloud service roadmaps aligned with business and regulatory requirementsProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance oversight to cloud and infrastructure teamsQualifications:Strong experience delivering cloud services in U.S. government, defense, or regulated environmentsDeep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure Government (identity, networking, security, governance)Experience with U.S. security and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, DoD guidance)Expertise in secure cloud architecture, design, and implementationExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep)Background in cloud security, risk management, and audit/authorization supportExperience operating mission-critical or high-assurance IT servicesStrong stakeholder and supplier management skillsKnowledge of IT operations including incident, problem, and change managementRelevant certifications preferred (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, CISM, Security+, ITIL)Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.
