Job Summary:
Performs production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Works in a manufacturing environment using tools, drawings, and specifications to build, modify, and test components.


Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assembly tasks on electronic and/or mechanical components such as modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables
• Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams
• Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and equipment to complete assembly work
• Conduct continuity checks and basic testing on assemblies
• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble components as required
• Support prototype or experimental builds under defined conditions
• Maintain a clean and safe manufacturing work environment

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to read and follow work instructions
• Experience using basic hand and power tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• Experience with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Damage) control
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience working on government contracts (preferred)
