Java Developer - Mid-Level

Our client, a leader in financial services, is seeking a Java Developer - Mid-Level to join their team. As a Java Developer - Mid-Level, you will be part of the Software Development Department supporting the Trading Systems team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Java Developer - Mid-Level Location: 201 South Division Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 - LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Pay Range: $56.52 What's the Job?- Develop and maintain robust Java-based applications supporting core business functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and efficient software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Implement best practices in software development, including TDD and Agile methodologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize system downtime.
- 3+ years of experience with Java, J2EE (both client and server side).
- Experience with object-oriented analysis and design, distributed systems, and relational databases.
- Proficiency with application frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, or JSF.
- Knowledge of build and automation tools such as Maven, Jenkins, or Gradle.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
