With the help of a team you can rely on and training to build your skill sets, we'll coach and encourage you every step of the way in well equipped, safe facilities where you're empowered to do what's right - whether you're performing routine maintenance or complete engine overhauls.ResponsibilitiesDiesel Technicians at Freightliner of Hawaii:Run diagnostic tests and analyze results.Repair or replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems.Working knowledge of engines, transmissions, differential, A/C and suspensions.Determine unit condition by conducting inspections & diagnostic tests, identifying deficiencies.Able to read schematics for electrical and air systems.Develop technical skills through training opportunitiesTest equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications; make necessary adjustments if required.Ensure the cleanliness of the shop.QualificationsBased upon level of skill and experience, hourly compensation is $28.00 to $50.00.GTC General Benefits DescriptionGordon Truck Centers, Inc.
