Are you passionate about connecting people with career opportunities? We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to join our client's growing Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, engaging, and supporting candidates throughout the hiring process while helping build strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Responsibilities

• Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidate qualifications against job requirements.

• Conduct initial candidate screenings via phone, video, or email to assess experience, interest, and overall fit.

• Document screening results and maintain accurate candidate records within the ATS.

• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition Partners to advance qualified candidates through the interview process.

• Create, post, and manage job advertisements across company career sites and external job boards.

• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.

• Build and maintain talent pipelines for ongoing and future hiring needs.

• Engage passive candidates through creative outreach strategies and relationship-building efforts.

• Provide an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, professionalism, and consistent follow-up.

• Communicate hiring process updates and next steps to candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

• Ensure recruiting activities, documentation, and candidate data remain accurate, organized, and compliant with company standards.

• Partner with Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and hiring managers to support hiring initiatives and meet staffing goals.

• Assist with recruitment projects, hiring events, and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, customer service, sales, administrative support, or a related field preferred.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Ability to effectively engage with candidates, hiring teams, and internal stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.

• Experience reviewing resumes and assessing candidate qualifications.

• Knowledge of recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition best practices.

• Proficiency using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or other candidate sourcing platforms preferred.

• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, or recruiting software is a plus.

• Prior experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, customer-facing roles, sales, or staffing environments is highly preferred.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

• Comfortable using digital communication tools, virtual meeting platforms, and online recruiting technologies.

• Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.

• High level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service orientation.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position operating Monday through Friday during standard business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). The role is highly collaborative and technology-driven, utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems, job boards, sourcing platforms, video conferencing tools, and other recruiting technologies to support daily responsibilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
