Maintenance Technician

Toyo Tanso USA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and reliability of our purification and coating processing equipment. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and equipment support to help ensure safe and efficient operations across our processing systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working with tools, and learning complex industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and repairs on processing vessels, including pipes and valves
• Clean and maintain scrubber systems, cooling towers, vacuum pumps, and liquid pump systems
• Assist with installation, upgrades, and improvements to processing equipment
• Rebuild valves and pumps as required
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding work areas
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA standards
• Work safely around chemical processing systems while using required personal protective equipment (including respirators)

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic math and computer skills
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, mechanical maintenance, or industrial environments preferred
• Comfortable using mechanical tools and heavy equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn complex systems
• Ability to lift at least 35 pounds and move safely within the production environment
