As our next Parts Counter Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for an energetic, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is eager to grow with us.What you'll do day-to-day (essential duties & responsibilities):Greet and assist customers at the parts counter, providing friendly and knowledgeable service to create positive interactions while keeping customers informed about special orders and back ordered parts and handling returns if necessary.Accurately process parts orders, ensuring the correct parts are selected and available for customers while adhering to delivery timelines.Locate and secure parts from various vendors for shop jobs, demonstrating a proactive approach to honoring commitments and fulfilling customer orders.Provide technical assistance to customers, including assisting service technicians with acquiring parts.Utilize strong product knowledge to guide customers in selecting the right parts for their needs, ensuring a positive and satisfactory experience.Provide technical assistance to customers, including assisting service technicians with acquiring parts.Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support businessWhat we're looking for (qualifications & skills):High School or equivalentPrevious customer service experience3 years of Automotive or truck parts related experienceUnderstands and can identify common commodity partsAble to perform accurate cycle-countsAble to order and check-in parts ordersIntermediate computer skillsAble to work independentlyMindset: A curious mindset with an entrepreneurial "pioneering spirit," strong integrity, and a passion for continuous professional development.Physical and mental demands:The employee is frequently required to bend, squat, kneel, and crawl/lay on back; reach away from body or shoulder height; climb or balance; lift up to 75 pounds; push or pull; working in areas with fumes or airborne particles; vibration.What's in it for you?
