Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid Furniture Assembler role based in Huntsville, AL, with some work‑from‑home tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and customer communications. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include assembling furniture according to manufacturer instructions, inspecting parts and hardware for accuracy and defects, and organizing tools and materials for each job. The Furniture Assembler will travel to customer locations, follow safety and quality standards, and ensure completed items are stable, level, and ready for use. The role also involves maintaining a clean work area, documenting completed work, coordinating with team members or dispatch, and providing courteous, professional interaction with customers. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and manuals. Basic hand and power tool skills, including safe use of drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and measuring tools. Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to check for missing parts, secure fasteners, and verify structural stability. Reliable time management and organizational skills to plan daily routes, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines. Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with customers, documenting work, and coordinating with the team. Physical ability to lift, move, and position furniture components, and to stand, bend, and reach throughout the workday. Comfort with basic technology, such as smartphones or tablets, for work orders, photos, and digital documentation. Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and a clean driving record.
