Salary: Up to $85,000 per year

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our clinical team.

The Registered Dietitian will play an essential role in promoting resident health, wellness, and quality of life by assessing nutritional needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care.

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and reassessments for residents.

• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.

• Monitor residents' nutritional status, weight changes, dietary intake, and hydration needs.

• Review and update nutrition interventions as residents' needs change.

• Collaborate with physicians, nursing, dietary services, speech therapy, and the interdisciplinary team.

• Participate in care plan meetings and resident care conferences.

• Provide nutrition education and guidance to residents, families, and staff.

• Monitor therapeutic diets, supplements, food preferences, and specialized nutritional needs.

• Support clinical initiatives involving wound healing, weight management, hydration, and other nutritional concerns.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and facility regulations.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness.

• Registered Dietitian credential required.

• Active Florida licensure, certification, or other applicable credentialing as required.

• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Long-Term Care, Rehabilitation, or healthcare setting preferred.

• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.

• Excellent assessment, documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

• Strong commitment to resident-centered care and quality outcomes.
