Certified Occupational Therapist AssistantJoin Sasco River Center's multidisciplinary team as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant! As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) at Sasco River Center, you will support the delivery of occupational therapy services to children with developmental, behavioral, and sensory-processing needs under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will implement individualized treatment plans, provide direct therapeutic services, and collaborate with families and an interdisciplinary clinical team to promote functional independence and meaningful participation across home, school, and community settings.Responsibilities:Work with OTR to develop a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalitiesProvide direct occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, and/or adultsAdministrative duties, including documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, and communication with families, multidisciplinary team members, schools, and outside providers as neededParticipate in weekly supervision, staff meetings, grand rounds and case consultationsSet up the gym for evaluations/sessions and maintain a clean gym environment after each therapy session/dayPerform other clinical and administrative duties as requiredFull Time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant Benefits:Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000 annually401(k) with employer matchingComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and eligible dependentsHSA (with employer contribution) and FSA options to help manage healthcare and dependent care expensesEmployer-paid life insurance and AD&D coverageEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) with confidential mental health and life support resourcesPTO – Unlimited after 2 years of employment!Requirements:Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant studies from an accredited programActive Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in ConnecticutExperience providing occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist for children and adolescentsStrong skills in implementing treatment plans involving sensory integration, fine/gross motor development, and activities of daily living (ADL) trainingExcellent communication, documentation, and time management abilitiesAbility to commute to both Darien and Wilton locations2-3 years experience preferredAbout Sasco River Center:Sasco River Center is a mission-driven organization dedicated to supporting children, adolescents, and families through high-quality mental health and therapeutic services.
