Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications NIHSS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for NIHSS (AHA).
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Cardiovascular OR in last 3 years.
• EMR Epic
• Skills Assessment CVO skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 1 Supervisor reference within the last 2 years. 1 Charge RN reference within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee of this Facility in the past 6 months.
• Additional Confirmations Requires trauma level 1 experience
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, and Carotid Endarterectomy is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral Cannulation, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, and Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with MAZE Procedure, Mitral valve replacement, PDA, Pericardial window, Renal artery bypass surgery, TEVAR (Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair), Vein stripping, and Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD) is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Administration of blood & blood products, Code response, Electrosurgical units, Fiber optic light sources/cords, Fire Safety, Heart, Hybrid OR, and Infection control is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Laser Safety, Malignant Hyperthermia, Radiation Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure, Urinary bladder catheterization, and Wound Management is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Must travel at least 60.0 miles to receive a travel stipend. Local candidates are eligible, but the pay package may adjust the rate by a few dollars per hour, will not contain a travel stipend, and will be entirely taxable.
