Description: Ratios 1:2. First-timers are accepted. The facility may call off staff once per two-week pay period. Staffed beds total 200. Scrub color required is solid royal blue. Charting system used is Epic. Daily census is approximately 2-3 patients. Number of rooms in the unit is 5. Special procedures include sterile vaginal exams. Staff may float to nearby affiliate hospitals. Travelers must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. References are required covering one year of experience within the last three years. Providers may be required to submit their cell phone bills for reimbursement if the client does not provide a communication device. Travelers should explore housing options, as they may be limited. Modules are average 16 hours spent annually and must be completed prior to start. Completion of modules is self-reported.
