Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting K-12 students across multiple school environments. You'll play a vital role in helping children and adolescents strengthen communication skills and confidence throughout the academic year.

This full-time position runs from August 6, 2024, through May 22, 2025, with daily shifts from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM (schedules may vary by up to 30 minutes depending on your end-of-day school location). Enjoy a balanced workday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and an additional 30-minute unpaid break.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current SLP-CCC certification
• State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology in Alabama
• Previous experience with K-12 populations is strongly preferred
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
• Provide engaging and effective therapy, both individually and in small group settings
• Track student progress and maintain comprehensive, timely documentation
• Offer support and guidance to families and staff to enhance student success
• Contribute to a collaborative learning atmosphere within the school community
