District Manager, Psychiatry - Southeastern, CT

AbbVie seeks a District Manager for Psychiatry in Southeastern Connecticut to lead in-field sales teams and drive commercial targets within an assigned territory. The role involves coordinating team activities, developing talent, and executing district sales plans while maintaining product and disease state expertise.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate in-field team activity to achieve sales targets and business results
- Create, implement, and communicate District Sales Plan with progress monitoring
- Coach, mentor, and develop direct and indirect reports; hold teams accountable
- Champion internal partnerships and provide direction in business planning processes
- Model AbbVie's Ways of Working and drive team engagement and winning culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field or equivalent industry experience
- Business analysis and planning skills to drive sales performance
- Ability to articulate scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas
- Proven performance management and talent development capabilities
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Healthcare industry representative credentialing eligibility and compliance
