Job Summary: A clean-room/contamination control background is a plus, but not necessary. If you are highly motivated, possess a strong work ethic and want to establish a career with an industry leader in a growing market, then we want to hear from you!! Responsibilities: Sort articles by item and material type. Gown in clean-room garments with a minimum of a hood, coverall, boots and gloves. Follow best practices for clean-room environments. Weigh articles, load articles into washer, start washer. Remove clean, wet articles from washer and place them into dryers for measured time cycles. Turn/right articles as necessary in preparation of packaging. Inspect for damage. Mend torn/damaged articles as necessary. Bundle/package articles to in accordance with work order requirements. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and must follow established procedures. The employee must follow established procedures to avoid contamination of clean-room. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
