Software Engineer III, Service AI Transformation

Service AI Transformation Team turns existing document data into AI‑powered services and integrations that streamline workflows across Natera’s clinical, commercial, and operational domains. Software Engineer III , you will implement features across the stack in a small, highly autonomous squad, applying modern serverless patterns, event streaming, and generative‑AI techniques to deliver reliable, scalable capabilities. Implement event‑driven transformation workflows and service integrations with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, S3, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, and Fargate , delivered through Infrastructure‑as‑Code (CDK or Terraform). cloud‑based foundation‑model APIs: Build AI transformation pipelines that orchestrate prompts, generate embeddings, and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns. React/Next.js Quality & Reliability AI‑focused testing —prompt regression suites, hallucination detection, evaluation harnesses—alongside unit, integration, and load tests. and participate in CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust observability and dependable releases. Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing to continually improve team velocity and quality. 4+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production cloud services. AWS serverless TypeScript/JavaScript , React/Next.js , and AI Orchestration, guardrails, data validation and quality , prompt engineering, and RAG patterns.
