Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shift (Days and Nights Required) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across ante-partum, intra-partum, and post-partum settings within an 18-bed Labor and Delivery unit
• Manage and monitor patients in triage, antepartum, recovery, and L&D bed assignments
• Assist with and support care during cesarean sections in dedicated OR suites
• Deliver care to gynecological patients and newborns as required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic/Stork electronic health record system
• Float to mother-baby unit and potentially other adult or pediatric floors to provide assistance as needed within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 4–5 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic/Stork electronic health record system required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery environment with a 1:1–1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Comfort and flexibility floating to mother-baby, pediatric, or general adult floor settings
