Position Overview

We're on the lookout for a passionate Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our dynamic imaging team. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during exams, transparently guiding them through each step
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver precise and high-quality diagnostic images
• Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while promptly reporting any operational issues
• Thoroughly document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records in our electronic medical systems
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and adhere to best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques along with strong patient positioning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capable of working both independently and within a collaborative team environment
• Comfort with the fast-paced nature of a patient-centered healthcare setting
