Job Description Summary MUSC Health Emergency - Kiawah Partners Pavilion 1857 Seabrook Island Road, South Carolina. Responsibilities Perform routine and specialized diagnostic medical lab tests as requested by healthcare staff according to established protocols. Prepare specimens for microscopic examination or testing procedures. Operate automated laboratory instrumentation and equipment. Perform quality control and assurance procedures. Record lab results in the specified system. Follow all required privacy, safety, and biohazard procedures and standards. Qualifications Associates degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. At least three years of clinical experience. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by ASCP Board of Certification (BOC) or equivalent. Career Ladder Position: Internal candidates must submit and meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements; external candidates must complete the requirements within 6 months in position.
