Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

Shift: 7p-7a (Night Shift) 3 x 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid State RN license or Compact License
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• 3 years of previous nursing experience preferred
• Strong MS/Tele experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process in assigned areas.
• Assess patients upon admission, obtaining past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, and diagnostic tests.
• Participate in planning and implementing written care plans under the direction of a Physician.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members to support patient care and safety.

Compliance / Notes:

• Up to 16 hours of unpaid orientation.
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
