About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of Med Surg experience required License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS Active NIH Stroke Certification Must-Have: Cardiac drip experience required Dementia experience/management required EPIC experience required NIHSS certification strongly preferred Description: This position guarantees 36 hours per week. The position will involve total nursing care for patients. You will participate in patient and family teaching. The role requires leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. You are expected to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The patient population will include adults and geriatric patients. Professional scrubs without logos must be worn as part of the dress code. This is a small community, and public transport is not available; candidates must have their own vehicle. Any requested time off must be noted upfront and will not be approved after the interview. You must work two blocks over the holiday period which includes Thanksgiving and Christmas. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within five days of offer acceptance.
