Maintenance Supervisor, Night Shift

A food and beverage manufacturing facility is hiring a Night Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. This role oversees installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment, with direct responsibility for minimizing downtime and supporting production efficiency across the facility.

Schedule
Full-time, night shift. May require long hours and weekends.

Compensation
$80,000 to $100,000 per year, plus bonus.

What You'll Do
This supervisor leads teams of maintenance mechanics and electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance as well as machine repairs, and supervises maintenance systems, processes, and documentation to ensure high performance. The role ensures maintenance is scheduled in coordination with Production to address equipment and facility repairs, and develops and implements maintenance systems, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs, TPM, SOPs, and safety protocols. This position provides both long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failures, and develops and maintains KPIs for tracking maintenance performance, including supplier performance, contractor performance, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness. The supervisor provides regular status reports to the maintenance management team, ensures maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations, and maintains accurate records of maintenance work and inventory.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience providing training, coaching, or mentoring to less experienced staff, or managing a process or project
• Ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts on high-level process issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, compressed air systems, and mechanical/electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical engineering)
• Ability to lead resource planning efforts in a large manufacturing environment
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, and inventory/scheduling software
• Strong leadership skills, including conflict resolution, facilitation, change management, and delegation
• Bilingual

Compensation and Benefits
