Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach.

The candidate would be expected to be responsible for: assistance in practice and game preparations; on-court coaching duties including in and out of season workouts; sideline coaching responsibilities during games; specific position coaching as determined by the Head Coach.

This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in player development.

• Assist in camps/clinics.

• Responsible for adhering to policies and procedures governing the Department of Athletics and the University and any applicable rules and regulations associated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) or any other conference or organization with which the University is or becomes associated with which affects University Athletics.

• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree.

• Two (2) years of college basketball coaching/playing experience or an equivalent combination.

• A valid driver's license in your state of residence and have had no serious violations (Type A) within the past five (5) years and no more than three (3) moving violations (Type B) in the past three (3) years. University Policy found here:

• CPR and NCAA recruiting certification must be attained within six months from date of hire.

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

• Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately.

• Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence.

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of Synergy Sports Tech system and ARMS software.

• Evidence of ability and desire to work with a diverse student population.
