Job DetailsJob Location: Hyatt Place Newark Main Street - Newark, DE 19711 Team Member Benefits: Employer Matched 401K Hotel Room Discounts across multiple brands Other Supplemental Benefits Essential Job Functions: Perform bookkeeping activities, such as balancing accounts and conducting nightly audits. Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, manually or using computers. Prepare, review, and distribute daily operational and financial reports to hotel management. Audit and reconcile cashiers. Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis. Input and update financial information into M3 network. Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures, process reservations, and provide exceptional guest service in accordance with brand standards. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to communicate guest requests, concerns, and operational issues requiring follow-up. Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment. Ensure overall guest satisfaction. Perform other duties as requested by management. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous night audit, front desk, hospitality, accounting, or cash-handling experience preferred. Proficiency with computers and basic accounting principles; strong arithmetic, data entry, and problem-solving skills required. Experience with hotel property management systems preferred; knowledge of Opera PMS, M3 Accounting, and Microsoft Office applications is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent guest service, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of guest and financial information. Work schedule varies and may include overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, and performing other physical tasks as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
