Job Summary: Arizona Liver Health/Arizona Clinical Trials is looking for qualified candidates for the Research Pharmacy Technician position in Flagstaff. Title: Research Pharmacy Technician (Flagstaff, AZ) Compensation: $24.50- $28.50 per hour, depending on experience Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00a - 4:00p (set schedule) Key Responsibilities: Receiving and verifying the accuracy and authenticity of investigational products prescriptions Reviewing and recording patient information with their medication in compliance with the guidelines of the protocol Stocking the pharmacy with inventory Providing instructions to educate people on the correct way to take their medicine Supporting the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the pharmacy Protecting employees and patients by adhering to infection-control protocols and policies Disbursing completed and confirmed meds to patients Answering incoming calls and fielding patient questions Maintaining a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with regulations, rules and procedures Maintain accountability logs Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Certified Pharmacy Technician At least one (1) year experience working as a pharmacy tech at a private practice, hospital, or pharmacy setting Adhere to IRB approved protocols Understand good clinical practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance Comply with institutional policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines Knowledge of basic medical terminology Availability to work weekends as needed Effective communication, excellent attention to detail, strong information and time management, and administrative/computer skills Bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) preferred Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required Associate degree or active Pharmacy Tech license preferred Minimum (1) year experience working in a clinical research setting preferred Benefits & Perks: Health, Dental, Vision (with HSA plans and employer contribution) 2 Weeks PTO 5 days Sick Time 7 Company holidays + 2 Half-days 401k with company match Short- & Long-Term Disability Educational Assistance Shared company vehicles for required travel Travel Requirements: Some inter-office travel may be required as needed with the use of a company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
