As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Greenwood, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech and media location, where you will monitor entry activity, verify credentials, and support access screening with professionalism and care. In this highly visible role, you will help maintain an orderly environment while delivering strong customer service and communication. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and an innovative mindset, you will play an important part in daily security-related operations.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a fast-paced technology location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or personal items in accordance with site policies and report screening-related concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established communication and escalation procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity to help support security-related operations and site rules.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
