Responsibilities Include Compounding and dispensing drugs and medicines prescribed by physicians or other authorized medical personnel. Comply with all local, state and federal accrediting rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy. Make substitutions of comparable drugs for drugs with trade names, as appropriate. Manufacture pharmaceutical preparations as needed. Prepare solutions and sterile vehicles. Respond to inquiries concerning drug contents, dosages, regimen reviews, storage and disposal. Monitor drug therapies for drug interactions, allergies and contraindications. Monitor stocks of drugs and chemicals. Inventory drugs, medications and supplies as required. Maintain supplies and the security of drugs. Provide consultations on the use and care of prescription drugs and medicines with patients. Maintain records and prepare reports on all narcotics dispensed. Provide technical assistance to providers of healthcare in a variety of settings. Assist in the training of new Pharmacists. Oversee the work of Pharmacist. Maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work. Completes all necessary managerial tasks for direct reports including hiring, training, addressing performance issues, developing team goals and objectives, performance reviews, conflict resolution, and strategic planning. Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation, once every 3 weeks Requirements Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), or R.Ph. with appropriate clinical experience Applicable active state licensure Parenteral Certification - ALBOP-approved parenteral training program Post graduate training Additional licensure may be required according to state Minimum 7 years Pharmacist experience, preferably direct compounding Efficiency in CPR +/Care Tend is desired Excellent customer service skills Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook About Us Soleo Health is an innovative national provider of complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services, administered in the home or at alternate sites of care.
