Sage Group Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)for a Travel Pediatric Emergency Room (Peds ER)assignment in Syracuse, NY .
Job Details
- Location: Syracuse, NY
- Assignment: Travel
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Some holidays
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Pediatric Emergency Department.
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions.
- Record vital signs and assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed.
- Maintain accurate documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
- Assist with patient flow, room preparation, and other clinical duties.
Requirements
- Active New York State LPN License
- Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Emergency Room (Peds ER)experience (required)
- Emergency Department experience required
- Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous inpatient experience preferred
- EMR experience preferred
