The General Clerk / Bagger plays a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience by efficiently bagging groceries, assisting customers, collecting carts, and supporting overall store cleanliness and operations.

Key responsibilities include bagging groceries carefully and efficiently, assisting customers in carrying groceries to their vehicles when needed, retrieving shopping carts from the parking lot and returning them to designated areas, keeping entryways, front-end areas, and bagging stations clean and organized, restocking bags and supplies at checkout lanes, helping with light cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, or sanitizing surfaces, assisting with returns, price checks, or restocking items as directed, providing friendly and helpful service to all customers, following all safety procedures and store policies, and supporting other departments or tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications include no previous experience requiredon-the-job training provided, dependability, courtesy, and customer-service focus, ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs during the shift, willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.

Working conditions include indoor/outdoor work (cart collection and assisting customers), fast-paced retail environment with frequent standing and lifting, and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions when retrieving carts.

Requirements include a school work permit.
