Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dedicated and patient TRANSPORTATION Driver to join our team! As a vital part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and comfortable transportation of our residents, staff, and volunteers to and from various destinations.
Job Responsibilities:
Review daily rehabilitation schedules and ensure availability for transportations
Provide minimal assist with resident transfers to and from wheelchairs
Assist nursing and rehabilitation personnel with transfers to and from vehicles
Transport residents to and from rehabilitation areas for scheduled appointments
Operate elevators as needed
Inform nursing and rehabilitation staff of any incidents or problems
Maintain positive, professional interactions with residents and staff
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred
Valid, unencumbered state driver's license required
At least 1-2 years of transportation experience preferred
Previous long-term care experience preferred
Must have experience transporting and transferring residents or patients with physical impairments using facility equipment
CNA certification is preferred but not required
