Director Rental Operations (New York)

SIXT is scaling fast across the Northeast, and we need a Director of Rental Operations to own performance across our high-density New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts territory. You'll lead multi-site operations at some of the largest airports in our network, report directly to the Regional Vice President, and shape our 2027 growth strategy, including downtown expansion and team buildout. This is a true P&L leadership role for someone who's run multi-unit operations in car rental, hospitality, retail, or logistics, drives revenue and margin results, delivers standout customer experiences, and develops strong managers in a fast-moving, tech-forward environment. The salary range for this position is $150,000–$175,000, complimented by a $100,000 target annual bonus, bringing your Total Target Compensation to $250,000+ . YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You drive revenue growth through revenue management, incremental sales, and fleet utilization while setting and controlling budgets
• You coach and develop Branch Managers, General Managers, and Area Managers to drive P&L results, deliver premium customer experiences, and grow the brand
• You run the Daily Game Plan discipline, corporate identity compliance, and regional KPI monitoring across every location in scope
• You own service quality and escalation resolution, elevating customer experience standards across a high-volume, high-visibility market
• You enforce operational and security standards, improve labor efficiency, and protect the business against loss
• You champion technology improvements and drive their adoption to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the overall customer experience

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• Multi-Unit Leadership You bring 7+ years of operations leadership with direct P&L accountability in car rental, hospitality, retail, or logistics
• Data-Driven Decision Making You have experience with operational KPIs such as utilization, revenue per day, incremental revenue per day, out-of-service vehicles, labor efficiency, and customer experience scores, and you make decisions from the data, not around it
• Talent Development You have experience building and developing manager-level talent and have grown people into their next role before
• Education & Authorization You hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent operating experience), are authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, are 18+, and hold a valid driver's license with a clean record
• Market Presence You are comfortable with a hands-on, in-market role where travel to locations is required
