CDL Class A Driver

Pay $30 - $36 hourly, depending on experience. Pay range for this position typically falls within $21.59 to $27.45 per hour. Overtime and performance‑based bonuses may apply. Job Overview The CDL Class A Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver products to customer locations or job sites, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while following all DOT regulations. Key Responsibilities Follow all DOT rules and maintain a clean driving record. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and timely deliveries. Load, unload, and organize orders carefully at customer sites and branch locations. Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations. Review purchase orders and delivery tickets to confirm routes and inventory, reducing errors and improving customer satisfaction. Support job site safety by checking for and reporting hazards. Take photos of delivered products as required. Keep accurate records of deliveries, vehicle inspections, and receipts. Perform local travel with deliveries commencing and concluding at the branch. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 lbs. Consistent physical activity including bending, crouching, prolonged sitting and standing. Must meet DOT medical certification standards. Driving in varied weather and traffic conditions. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required. Minimum Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Current DOT Medical Certification. Completion of FMCSA Registration. Clean driving record (no hits & runs, no DWI/DUI in last 18 months). Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT compliance and OSHA safety regulations. Benefits Competitive hourly pay.
