Licensed Landscape Architect Role Description Huitt-Zollars' Phoenix, AZ office has a great opportunity for a Licensed Landscape Architect with 3+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Landscape Architectural program. This role assists and/or leads design teams through all project phases including site analysis, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. The position works directly with discipline leads, landscape architects, engineers, architects, designers and supporting staff throughout project development. Location Location: Phoenix, Arizona Employment Type Employment Type: 40 FT Hours Compensation Type Compensation Type: Salary Registration Registration(s): Licensed Landscape Architect Education Education: Bachelor's Degree in an accredited Landscape Architectural program Duties Assist designers, landscape architects, and senior staff with research, site analysis, conceptual design, and construction documentation for a wide range of project types Conceptual design, schematic design, design development, producing precise and consistent construction drawings, accurate project detailing, and cost estimating Work within a multi‑discipline company and collaborative project team setting Support senior staff with site analysis, conceptual design, and construction documentation for public and private client projects Produce graphic presentations and build study models Conduct project construction observations Key Responsibilities Understand, follow, and enforce Huitt-Zollars' business process Collaborate productively with others and lead or encourage teams to achieve success and camaraderie Follow HZ QMS and Quality initiatives; ensure quality control measures are adhered to on projects and daily operations Maintain necessary job knowledge and technical skills, keeping knowledge current Assist with administrative and project support tasks for the project team and office Complete assignments on time, within budget, and with the highest level of quality Propose and implement more effective ways to accomplish assignments Role Competencies Sharing Information: Convey up‑to‑date information efficiently and effectively to stakeholders Critical Thinking: Analyze problems and solutions by evaluating information from different sources and avoiding bias Executes Strategy: Keep people focused on strategic goals by planning tasks and overcoming obstacles Fosters a Learning Culture: Create an inspiring atmosphere where people feel motivated to grow, experiment, and learn new skills Identifies Talent: Maintain awareness of internal and external talent, current abilities, and hiring needs Qualifications Bachelor from an accredited Landscape Architectural program Licensed Landscape Architect 3+ years of relevant experience Proficient in AutoCAD and have entry‑level skills and/or interest in LandFX, Photoshop, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and other illustration software This position is also required to adhere to Huitt-Zollars' Core Value Competencies.
