Universal BankerThe Universal Banker handles all aspects of customer interaction including the sales process and transaction handling. Efforts should focus on building full banking relationships with current customers and prospects. The Universal Banker should also recognize customer needs while deepening relationships by promoting, explaining, and cross-selling bank products and services.Primary accountabilities/responsibilities include providing the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and the community, meeting financial objectives, managing personal banker portfolio, encouraging customer to utilize automated transaction handling, handling servicing of customer accounts, adhering to compliance and operations risk controls, establishing proficiency of the Bank's systems, coordinating the operations of a branch office, assisting with branch operations and training of branch personnel, representing the Bank through participation in community and industry related activities, working towards full certification as UB II within 9 months, ensuring information security policies are adhered to, researching and evaluating data to identify new threats, trends, issues and opportunities, engaging in special projects and other duties as assigned, and performing related and unrelated duties as may be required.Requirements include Spanish speaking preferred, strong interpersonal skills, vibrant, outgoing personality, strong client service and sales skills, knowledge of financial institution operations and procedures, working knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to financial institution, ability to apply strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively, effective communication skills, ability to work with all levels of management and staff, and performing work independently within scope of established guidelines and practices.Qualifications include the ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EEO statement: Bristol County Savings Bank is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to a diverse workforce.
