Material Handler

We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This position will stage materials for shipment, receive and inspect incoming deliveries, supply production areas, and assist with loading, labeling, inventory tracking, and general warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Move and stage pallets, cartons, trays, cages, skids, and other materials using a forklift or hand lift truck.
• Supply production departments with needed materials.
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments.
• Use RF scanners and bar codes to track inventory and material movement.
• Prepare, wrap, label, and load shipments.
• Verify shipping paperwork, including bills of lading and Certificates of Analysis.
• Coordinate with truck drivers and secure required shipment documents and samples.
• Remove waste and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Follow all company, forklift, and workplace safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously.
• Ability to work required overtime and occasional rotating weekends.
• Reliable attendance and good communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to pass required line clearance, ruler, and mechanical aptitude tests.
• Previous warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
• RF scanner, bar-code, and forklift experience or certification preferred.
