Assistant Superintendent - Hotel Casino Construction

Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large and reputable general contractor to assist in finding an Assistant Superintendent for their headquarters in Austin. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of Large Hotel Casino new construction; project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections. Assistant Superintendent - Hotel Casino project in Eagle Pass, TX We are working with a reputable commercial general contractor that is actively seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support projects in Eagle Pass and Austin Area. This is a field leadership role overseeing a strong pipeline of commercial work, starting with a $50M+ ground-up Hotel Casino , with additional projects following in Austin. What You’ll Be Doing Lead all on-site construction activities from start through completion Manage field operations, subcontractors, and site logistics Maintain project schedules and drive timely delivery Coordinate with Project Managers and design teams Ensure safety compliance and enforce OSHA standards Run subcontractor meetings and manage day-to-day field execution Maintain quality control and resolve field issues proactively What They’re Looking For 3+ years of Assistant Superintendent experience in commercial construction Proven track record on projects $10M+ Strong background in one or more of the following: Corporate office / tenant improvement (TI) Healthcare (clinics, MOBs, occupied renovations) Industrial / manufacturing / tilt-wall construction Retail or commercial ground-up projects Experience managing fast-paced job sites and multiple subcontractors Strong leadership and communication skills OSHA 30 certification preferred Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools Location & Travel Must be based in or near - Austin Must be open to travel between Eagle Pass and Austin Compensation Flexible on Salary Benefits + allowances Long-term project pipeline and stability Why This Role First project is a $50M+ Commercial projects Strong backlog of commercial work across Central Texas Clear pathway into Senior Superintendent leadership roles Stable contractor with consistent growth Send resumes to View email address on click.appcast.io for immediate consideration. #J-18808-Ljbffr Scott Humphrey Corporation
