Senior Project Manager, Water/Wastewater Treatment Join Stantec as a Senior Project Manager, Water/Wastewater Treatment, to deliver transformational projects that benefit future generations. We are looking for a talented Water/Wastewater Sr. Project Manager focused on the planning and engineering design of wastewater infrastructure projects. You will primarily work on wastewater-related projects, collaborating with a wide range of technical disciplines. Our Water and Wastewater experience includes over 900 treatment plants, from large and complex to small, remote communities. We have expertise in advanced treatment, automation/information management, nutrient recovery, odor control, operations and management evaluation, process review and optimization, and reclamation and reuse. Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of design professionals and technicians Mentor and supervise staff and develop high-performing project teams Perform business development/application tasks and collaborate with staff to increase project wins and develop long-lasting client relationships Assist senior engineers/designers with developing and managing project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule Perform complex engineering design tasks on assigned wastewater-related projects Assist with the management of design and construction of projects Develop project management plans for projects and establish goals and objectives Conduct and/or coordinate quality assurance and quality control on assigned projects Capabilities and Credentials: Inspire project teams to higher levels of achievement Engage employees in discussions on job satisfaction and engagement and provide ongoing recognition and feedback Ability to perform mass & energy balance and process equipment sizing calculations Understanding of local and regional jurisdictional codes, legal and design requirements Education and Experience: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Minimum of 15 years related experience in project management, preferably for wastewater projects Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus Stantec is a place where the best and brightest come to build on each other's talents, do exciting work, and make an impact on the world around us.
