This role requires expertise in CT procedures, strong knowledge of imaging systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical ImagingPerform CT scans and imaging procedures Ensure high-quality diagnostic images Select appropriate imaging parametersEquipment & TechnologyOperate CT imaging systems (Philips / Siemens preferred) Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment Report equipment malfunctionsPatient Care & SafetyPrepare and position patients for CT procedures Administer contrast (if certified) Ensure patient safety and comfortTeam CollaborationWork with radiologists and clinical teams Support workflow and patient coordination Maintain professional communicationDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate patient records Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Follow EMR documentation protocolsMust-Have QualificationsMinimum 2+ years of CT Technologist experience ARRT Certification (Required) New York State License (Required prior to start) Injection Therapy Certification (Required if already NY licensed) BLS Certification (AHA – Required) Experience in Level 1 Trauma CenterPreferred QualificationsInjection certification (preferred if not already obtained) Experience with Philips and Siemens CT equipment Experience in high-acuity hospital environmentsCore CompetenciesCT imaging expertise Patient care and safety Contrast administration Communication and teamwork Attention to detailWork EnvironmentRadiology / CT Department Level 1 Trauma Center Onsite role in Rochester, NYAdditional RequirementsMust obtain NY State license before start Must complete injection certification if not already certified Must be flexible with call, holiday, and weekend coverage
