Weekend coverage required: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period. No on-call required. No floating between units.Highlights:\n \n 379-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation\n Comprehensive Stroke Center and STEMI facility with advanced emergency services\n Manageable nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3 across all shifts\n 42-room emergency department with 46 beds and average daily census of 136 patients\n Interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services\n 13-week travel assignment with competitive compensation and benefits\n Requirements:\n \n Active RN license (Compact license accepted and must be in hand at submission)\n Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room nursing experience (required)\n Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC\n Epic charting system experience required\n Community hospital and trauma center experience preferred\n Experience with patient ratio of 1:3 or similar\n Proficiency in BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV vasopressors, stroke protocols, and triage\n Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n Why Join Us?\n This travel nursing opportunity offers the chance to work in a well-established Level II Trauma Center serving diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics.
