As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, your key responsibilities will include: Prioritizing customer needs above all. Implementing cash control and security procedures, managing inventory, overseeing labor, reviewing financial reports, driving sales, and taking necessary actions in these areas. Understanding administrative processes thoroughly. Supporting the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring team members. Assisting the RGM with scheduling and facility maintenance needs. Addressing personnel issues that arise in the absence of the RGM. Coordinating with Human Resources, accounting, and payroll departments professionally. Meeting background check requirements. Assisting in lifting 40 to 50 lb. boxes when needed. Collaborating with the RGM to build a strong team dedicated to providing outstanding food and customer experiences.
