Federal Tax Senior Associate

Job Description As a Federal Tax Senior Associate within our Lead Tax Services group, you will play a key role in supporting large and complex engagements. This position focuses on delivering high-quality tax compliance and consulting services to a diverse client base. Responsibilities Conduct technical tax research. Advise clients on federal tax matters. Assist with the planning and execution of specialized projects. Prepare and technically review corporate, partnership, S-corporation and individual income tax returns. Apply knowledge of consolidated C corporations, FAS 109 (ASC 740), FIN 48 and multi-state taxation. Build and maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. Apply sound tax research and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation or LL.M. preferred). CPA license or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam. Minimum of three years of progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of public accounting and corporate tax experience. Experience with consolidated C corporations, ASC 740 (FAS 109), FIN 48, partnerships, S corporations, individual taxation and/or multi-state taxation. Strong client-service orientation and relationship-building skills. Effective writing, communication, analytical and tax research skills. Hybrid Work Environment Hybrid work model for candidates near a Crowe office. Candidates not within commuting distance may be considered for remote work arrangements subject to business needs.
