ES Field Technician I (Driver Non-CDL)

Position Summary The Environmental Services Field Technician I (Driver Non-CDL) performs operational functions related to emergency response and hazardous and non-hazardous spill clean‑up and Hazmat Decon work. Responsibilities Daily work involves confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping, shoveling, high‑pressure washing and various other remedial activities. Operate light and heavy equipment including roll‑off truck, vacuum truck, box trucks, skid steer, forklift, pumps and pallet‑jack. Respond to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours. Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip Department of Transportation inspections and maintain vehicle logs. Conduct general housekeeping and maintain equipment and site conditions. Perform other related duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Ability to use heavy and light equipment such as forklift and pallet‑jack. Skilled with hand and shop tools and instruments. Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail. Able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities. Current 40‑hour HAZWOPER training. Minimum Qualifications A valid driver’s license DOT Qualified or ability to become DOT Qualified (Non CDL) to drive vehicles between 10,000 and 26,000 pounds. Ability to pass 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $20.30 to $27.87 per hour, which reflects the minimum wage in multiple jurisdictions.
