Start Date: June 30, 2026

Location: Southern California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30); Every other weekend, may exceed to meet unit needs; Float opportunities to Mother/Baby for babies; Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Highlights:

• Level III NICU with 14 beds serving approximately 190 births per month
• Acute care hospital with 212 total staffed beds utilizing Epic charting system
• Patient ratios staffed by acuity, up to 1:3; care for neonates 29-34+ weeks
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Serve diverse patient population with conditions including prematurity, RDS, NAS, sepsis, and hypoglycemia

Requirements:

• Active California RN license required prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year in Level III NICU specialty required
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP Advanced (will accept NRP if willing to obtain advanced before start date), PALS
• Epic charting experience required
• Community hospital and travel nursing experience required
• LA fire card within the last 30 days required
• Patient ratio experience of 2-3 patients
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
