Work Environment

This role will be primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while working within an established outpatient framework. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough intake assessments to identify clients' emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs.
• Create comprehensive, individualized therapy plans that reflect the unique circumstances and goals of each client.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused approaches to facilitate effective healing.
• Engage collaboratively with a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other counselors, to formulate cohesive treatment strategies.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records, ensuring compliance with state regulations and ethical standards while prioritizing client confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing training, workshops, and professional development to remain knowledgeable about the latest research and techniques in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will work with clients presenting a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our center emphasizes culturally competent care and aims to address the unique influences of societal factors on mental health. You will be expected to build rapport with a diverse clientele, tailoring your communication style to fit individual needs and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of three years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical or outpatient setting.
• Proficient knowledge of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to establish trusting relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or advanced training in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse will be highly regarded.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based practices in a variety of therapeutic settings enhances effectiveness in this role.
• Prior experience with telehealth platforms will be advantageous, facilitating adaptability in providing remote counseling services.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload capacity.
