Market Risk Support Specialist

Join our team to provide essential support in the Market Risk space. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and resolving business queries efficiently.

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey

Salary Range: Competitive and commensurate with experience

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10 years of Production Support experience.
• Strong SQL, UNIX / LINUX knowledge.
• Working knowledge of ITIL, ITRS, DynaTrace, and Splunk.
• Working knowledge of Autosys and Bob jobs.
• Python Scripting knowledge.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Operations exposure with Windows OS.
• Working knowledge with Tableau.
• Prior work experience in the financial industry or Market Risk.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-regional team.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve business queries for Market Risk space.
• Manage user query mailbox effectively and ensure timely responses.
• Respond to and resolve feed and batch support items, manage alerts and monitoring.
• Utilize framework tools such as ITSM, ITRS, JIRA, DynaTrace, and Splunk for updates and reports.
• Incident management, including user notifications and managing escalations.
• Documentation and knowledge management.
• Coordinate resolutions with various development teams.
• Assist with metrics reporting.
• Coordinate and perform Business Continuity testing and related paperwork.
• Organize and run meetings independently for issue resolution.
• Identify scope for automation to reduce manual tasks.
